Introduction

 

The Old Marlburian Lodge is a London based Lodge of Freemasons operating under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England. It is a private lodge which only admits past pupils and masters of Marlborough College, Wiltshire, and is affiliated to The Marlburian Club.


The lodge was founded in 1911, and its number in the register of Grand Lodge is 3533. It is a member of the Public Schools Lodges’ Council and a founder member of Metropolitan Grand Lodge.


The lodge meets at Freemasons Hall in Great Queen Street, London and dines at Beotys Restaurant in St Martins Lane. The regular meetings of the lodge are held on the third Thursday in February, the third Thursday in May (Installation) and the second Wednesday in November. In addition, the lodge visits Lodge of Loyalty in Marlborough once a year.
